Ivia Sky Yavelow 

Yavelow graduated with a BA in Studio Arts from Bard College in 2014 and now lives, works, and creates in the New York, Pennsylvania , and New Jersey area. She is a recipient of a 2015 Visual Artist Fellowship from the Edward F. Albee Foundation.  Yavelow has exhibited since 2010, and has had work featured in Bard Papers and Lux Magazine.  In addition to her studies at Bard she has also taken courses at the New York Studio School. Lifelong interests in perception, form, process, and context inform and inspire her work, which ranges from large scale site-specific installations to small hand-held sculptures and drawings. Working in a variety of media, her work addresses the material and conceptual history of its components.
